Teacher Blessing
Sunday, September 20th at 10 AM — As we embark on a new school year, we invite teachers and school staff from our partners at Emma E. Booker Elementary and Mangrove School of Sarasota to join us for worship on Sunday, September 20 at 10 AM.This annual tradition is a special opportunity for our church community to surround our educators with love, gratitude, and prayer as they begin another school year.
Soul Food
Sunday, September 20 at 5:30 PM - Looking to have food that feeds your body AND feeds your spirit? This potluck is where food and faith meet. One of the longest running traditions in the Christian faith is gathering at the table to share a meal. Worship can happen anywhere and in anyway. Come to the table.

Postcard Campaign
Sunday, September 27 After Worship — Our young adults are inviting all of our congregation to join them immediately following worship for a postcard campaign for the election. We’ll provide the postcards, postage, and a general message to write. Come help us get out the vote in an easy and relaxed environment.

Meditation Circle
Saturday, October 10 at 11 AM - Meditation is one of the most rewarding kinds of prayer even though many of us shy away from it. In this meditation circle, you will be led into a centered state of contemplation and listening by easing the body and mind so that your spirit can open. Join this circle as a sacred spiritual practice.

Vigil for the Vote
Wednesday, October 21 at 7 PM — A sacred evening of ritual, reflection, and prayer as we honor those lost to state violence and remember the communities harmed by unjust systems. Through ritual, we’ll name our grief, hold space for those impacted, and reconnect with our hope for a more just future. Together, we’ll reflect on how our faith calls us to pray all the way to the ballot box.
