Song Silenced Special Documentary Screening
Friday, October 9 at 6:30 PM — What happened when successful Christian recording artists come out? Song Silenced is a film that explores that question and how an industry that had once celebrated them responded. Alongside those stories, Song Silenced looks at a newer generation of openly LGBTQ+ musicians of faith finding audiences outside the traditional Christian music establishment and creating space for queer voices within faith-based music.

Meditation Circle
Saturday, October 10 at 11 AM - Meditation is one of the most rewarding kinds of prayer even though many of us shy away from it. In this meditation circle, you will be led into a centered state of contemplation and listening by easing the body and mind so that your spirit can open. Join this circle as a sacred spiritual practice.

Let Books Be - Protect the Freedom to Read
Saturday, October 10 at 4 PM — The state of Florida leads the nation with book bans. Join community leaders as we read and celebrate the banned titles of 2026 as well as hear from a variety of guest speakers from public education, Local Civil Liberties, Inc., and Sarasota United for Responsibility and Equity. Our church is proud to host this event.

Bylaws & Board of Directors Forum
Sunday, October 18 After Worship — Join us for an opportunity to meet the candidates for our Board of Directors for 2027 and learn more about proposed amendments to our church bylaws before the Annual Business Meeting. Come hear from the candidates, ask questions, and learn what’s ahead for our church community.
Karaoke with Oliver
Monday, October 19 at 6:30 PM - Our own amazing musician, Oliver Dill, will be here to serenade you with his own voice and invite you to join in on the fun. If you sing in the car or the shower, singing Karaoke on a Monday night might be the perfect kind of fun for you! Come laugh, sing, and make new friends!

Sunday, October 25 After Worship — Join us for a conversation about our church’s proposed budget and bylaw amendments ahead of the Annual Business Meeting. Annual Congregational Meeting
Sunday, November 8 After Worship — Join us for our Annual Congregational Meeting as we make important decisions about the future of our church. We’ll vote on the proposed budget, bylaw amendments, and candidates for our Board of Directors. These decisions shape our shared life and ministry. Please make plans to be there, come prepared, and make your voice heard.
