Community Conversation with Angie Nixon

Friday, May 29 2-4 PM — All are welcome to a special community conversation event with US Senate candidate, Angie Nixon. This won't be your typical meet and greet or town hall. We're emphasizing community and the concerns of everyday Floridians in our Sarasota/Manatee region. Leaders from different causes and organizations will speak about issues specific to our area, and hear responses from Representative Angie Nixon on how she can address these concerns as our next US Senator.

Young Adult Meetup at Florida Studio Theatre

Friday, May 29 at 8 PM — Three women. One wild ride to Nashville. Join Angela, Darlene, and Sue Ellen as they chase their dreams of country music stardom and leave their troubles behind. Featuring hits like “9 to 5” and “Stand by Your Man,” this high-energy celebration of country’s greatest hits is full of laughter and heart, join our young adult ministry. Sunday, May 31 After Worship - Every quarter, we host a pastor chat, so our staff is able to keep you updated on the latest in what’s happening in our church. There is always a special announcement at this meeting, so you will not want to miss it.

Suncoast Pride Interfaith Service

Sunday, June 7 at 3 PM — Our inaugural Pride Interfaith Service is an expansive gathering that brings together people of diverse traditions to celebrate and affirm LGBTQ+ identities. In this service we seek to honor the sacred worth of every individual while fostering unity, compassion, and understanding across faiths.

Meditation Circle

Saturday, June 13 at 11 AM — Meditation is one of the most rewarding kinds of prayer even though many of us shy away from it. In this meditation circle, you will be led into a centered state of contemplation and listening by easing the body and mind so that your spirit can open. Join this circle as a sacred spiritual practice.

Wednesday, June 24 at 6:30 PM — Join us for a relaxed, open gathering where spirit and conversation meet over drinks. Whether you're a lifelong believer, curious seeker, or somewhere in between, come share thoughts, ask questions, and explore spirituality in a welcoming space. No sermons, no pressure — just real talk and good company. All are welcome!

Young Adult Meetup: Pride Day of Service

Sunday, June 28 at 5 PM — Celebrate Pride through compassion and community at our Pride Day of Service. We’ll gather to prepare blessing bags filled with essential items and then head downtown to share them with neighbors in need. Come be part of a day rooted in dignity, love, and action as we put our faith and values into practice together.

Sunday, July 12 at 5:30 PM - Looking to have food that feeds your body AND feeds your spirit? This potluck is where food and faith meet. One of the longest running traditions in the Christian faith is gathering at the table to share a meal. Worship can happen anywhere and in anyway. Come to the table.
